The Sketchbook Project

The Sketchbook Project is a collaborative project by the Art House Co-op in which they get artists from around the world to participate by sending them a sketchbook that they fill in and send back. The received sketchbook is exhibited, among the others, in an international tour and later archived in the Brooklyn Library. Artists are allowed to use any medium as long as they do not alter the dimensions of the provided book.

Artists can also form part of the online community where they can upload pictures of the artwork submitted and see other artist’s profiles and pictures. They are notified when somebody look at their sketchbooks.

As I love the idea of having my work in the Brooklyn Library, I submitted a sketchbook this year to The Sketchbook Project: Limited Edition. I have a good excuse to go to New York now!

Here there are the scans of my book.
